Brandon University is the intellectual heart of western Manitoba. Fresh off our 50th anniversary since being chartered, we boast a growing student enrolment, renewed emphasis on research, and a deepening ambition to expand our graduate programming. We are sincere in our responsibility to work towards Reconciliation and to Indigenization, and we are committed to genuine engagement with our many communities.
As we enter the ‘foresight’ year of 2020, it is time to ask ourselves, what does our future hold? What should our future hold? How can we achieve the future we desire?
A Brandon University Strategic Plan will guide our institution through the coming decade — or more. It must be the result of honest soul-searching and thorough consultation. It must be inspirational and aspirational, yet achievable.
Brandon University is working towards a Strategic Plan for presentation to the Board of Governors by Fall 2020.
